I'm Kaleigh Rae - owner + lover of all houseplant bbs.
soiled.MKE was born out of both Kaleigh Rae Photography + my singing career as an opera singer. In the early years of my singing career, I was traveling the world for gigs, visiting new places and finding inspiration all over the place. While studying in Germany, I began a hobby in photography. It didn't take long for that hobby to turn into a passion + something more full time.
Since 2016, KRP has been my biz baby as a wedding + elopement photographer and in the midst of busy season 2019, I was desperate for a new hobby to get me away from my desk for small breaks throughout the day. I was in the process of moving back to the Midwest after nearly 4 years in NYC, and stumbled across the most beautiful space in MKE. I bought it, flipped it and filled it with plants. Having these babes was something that would help get this working-from-home gal into a routine and out searching for new inspiration. It didn't take long for me to become fully addicted.
It's now time that I share the knowledge, these cuties + their cousins/siblings with others. I'm thankful you're here + I'm always here to help!
